All-inclusive package total · per person
The seven MRI studies you may choose from are the cervical spine, knee, lumbar spine, shoulder, head, the AI brain-health assessment (which runs with the head MRI) and contrast-free coronary MRA. The choice of two is made with your physician at no extra cost.
Who this package is for
The middle tier, and the one most men choose. On top of the Health Guard baseline it adds trace elements, the ten-item vitamin panel, stool occult blood, HbA1c, homocysteine and coronary calcium scoring, the extended thyroid panel, ENT and dental endoscopy, prostate assessment on the urinary ultrasound, and a choice of two MRI studies from seven — the cervical spine, knee, lumbar spine, shoulder or head, the AI brain-health assessment that runs with the head MRI, or contrast-free coronary MRA. The choice of two is made with your physician at no extra cost.
What's included
General Examination
- Vital signs & anthropometry — Height, weight, waist circumference, body-mass index and blood pressure.
- Internal medicine & surgery — Inspection, palpation, percussion and auscultation of the heart, lungs, liver, gallbladder, spleen and pancreas, and of the skin, superficial lymph nodes, thyroid, spine and limbs.
- Electrocardiogram (ECG) — A 12-lead resting ECG screening for arrhythmia, conduction block, myocardial ischaemia and myocardial infarction.
Specialist Examination
- Body composition analysis — Bioelectrical impedance measurement of the body's four main components — muscle, fat and water distribution — with nutritional assessment.
- ENT & dental examination — Video endoscopy of the nasal cavity, pharynx, nasopharynx, tonsils, external ear and tympanic membrane, plus a dental examination for decay, tartar, missing teeth and oral mucosal lesions.
Laboratory Tests
- Complete blood count (5-part) — White cells, red cells, haemoglobin and platelets.
- Trace elements, 6 venous (Pb, Cu, Zn, Ca, Mg, Fe) — Assesses iron, zinc, copper, magnesium, lead and calcium levels, highlighting nutritional deficiency, metabolic abnormality or heavy-metal exposure.
- Vitamin panel (10 items) — Ten vitamins spanning the fat-soluble and water-soluble groups, to assess deficiency or excess and guide diet or supplementation.
- Urinalysis — Urine chemistry and sediment — a key adjunct in assessing kidney and urinary-tract function and infection.
- Stool routine + occult blood — Screens the digestive tract for bleeding, parasites and other disorders.
- Liver function II (ALT, AST, TBIL, DBIL, TP, ALB, ALP, GGT) — Eleven indicators reflecting hepatocellular damage and biliary-tract disease.
- Kidney function I (UREA, UA, CREA) — Assesses the degree of kidney impairment and abnormal uric-acid metabolism.
- Fasting glucose — Screens for disordered glucose metabolism and diabetes, and guides evaluation and treatment.
- HbA1c — Three-month average blood glucose.
- Lipid panel II (TG, TC, HDL, LDL) — Screens for hyperlipidaemia and supports nutritional assessment; an adjunct in evaluating pancreatitis and arteriosclerosis risk.
- Homocysteine (Hcy) — An independent cardiovascular risk marker that also reflects folate metabolism.
- Coronary artery calcium score — A key indicator of coronary-artery disease severity: the more extensive the calcification, the more advanced and widespread the disease, and the closer its association with diabetes, hypertension and smoking.
- Thyroid function II (FT3, FT4, T3, T4, TSH) — Assesses thyroid function and supports the diagnosis of common thyroid disease.
- Thyroid function III (A-Tg, A-TPO) — Monitors autoimmune thyroid disease.
- Men's tumour markers (15 items) — Fifteen tumour-associated antigens for men, used as an adjunct in tumour diagnosis.
- H. pylori C13 urea breath test — Radiation-free and suitable for pregnant women and children; H. pylori is closely linked to acute and chronic gastritis, gastric ulcer and gastric cancer.
Imaging & Diagnostic Technology
- Thyroid ultrasound — Morphological change and space-occupying lesions of the thyroid.
- Abdominal ultrasound — The liver, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen — morphology and any corresponding pathology.
- Urinary-system ultrasound — The kidneys and bladder, and the prostate for enlargement, cysts, stones or benign and malignant tumour.
- Coronary artery calcium score — A key indicator of coronary-artery disease severity: the more extensive the calcification, the more advanced and widespread the disease, and the closer its association with diabetes, hypertension and smoking.
- Chest low-dose CT — The chest, lungs, mediastinal lesions and the area around them; markedly better than a plain chest film at detecting early lung cancer.
- Lung-nodule risk assessment — AI-assisted reading with physician review; accurate risk assessment of solid nodules for lung cancer.
- CT bone densitometry — Detects osteoporosis risk.
Included Choice — Choose Two of Seven
- Cervical spine MRI (plain) — Clearly shows the intervertebral discs, spinal cord, nerve roots, ligaments, spinal canal and surrounding vessels; helps diagnose disc herniation, canal stenosis, cord injury, tumour, infection and congenital deformity. The gold standard for cervical-spine problems, and relevant to long-term desk work or suspected cervical spondylosis, ligamentous calcification or neck masses.
- Knee MRI (plain, one side) — High-resolution imaging of cartilage, menisci, synovium and soft tissue, detecting ligament tears, meniscal injury and cartilage wear — a sports-injury risk screen for runners, gym-goers and basketball players.
- Lumbar spine MRI (plain) — The morphology of the lumbar spine and surrounding tissue; helps assess disc herniation, nerve compression, tumour, infection, fracture and congenital deformity, for low-back pain, lower-limb numbness and restricted movement.
- Shoulder MRI (plain, one side) — For chronic shoulder pain and limited shoulder movement: high-resolution imaging of bone, muscle, tendon, ligament, cartilage and soft tissue to diagnose rotator-cuff injury, labral tears, arthritis and fracture, especially where a plain X-ray or CT is inconclusive.
- Head MRI (plain) — Clearly displays intracranial morphology and assists in diagnosing tumours, cerebral infarction, haemorrhage, atrophy and encephalitis; non-invasive and safe.
- Brain-health assessment — Not selectable on its own — it runs together with the head MRI. AI-assisted analysis of resting-state brain MRI, reporting brain age and cognitive ability.
- MRCA coronary magnetic resonance angiography — Contrast-free, radiation-free imaging of the coronary arteries.
Included Services
- Health breakfast — Served after the fasting items are complete.
- Venous blood draw — All blood samples for the panel are drawn in a single sitting.
How Your Visit Goes
- Your coordinator books the appointment and confirms which tier you want; the physician who reviews your report is the same one you meet first.
- You arrive at the hospital in Hangzhou; on-site English interpretation is provided from registration onwards.
- The fasting items — blood draw, urine, stool and ultrasound — are completed first.
- You eat the health breakfast once the fasting items are done, then continue with the remaining imaging and consultations.
- You meet the physician for your report interpretation before you leave; the written report follows within 24–72 hours.
